Identification and its connexion with unconscious thought and melodic lines.

This paper deals with identification in relation to unconscious thought, as discussed by Freud in works written throughout his life, and its connexion with melodic lines. These ideas are reexamined in the context of the work of other authors and correlations are established between theory, clinical practice and psychoanalytic technique.
