[Disorders in the consolidation of temporary connections in the rat after chemical induction of lipid peroxidation and its prevention with the antioxidant ionol].

Injections to rats of antibiotic adriblastin activating lipids peroxide oxidation directly after elaboration of defensive conditioned reflexes, elicit retrograde amnesia. Administration of antioxidant ional before the administration of adriblastin prevents this effect. It is suggested that activation of lipids peroxide oxidation disturbs the process of consolidation.
