Abstract

Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a significant cause of morbidity since it results in the inflammation process which leads to necrosis or apoptosis. Inflammatory response to the tissue damage increases IL-6 and IL-8 levels. ACTH4 10Pro8-Gly9-Pro10 is a peptide community that has been shown to have a beneficial effect on minimizing the morbidity and increasing the recovery time.  This study is a true experimental laboratory research with a totally randomized method. The subjects were animal models with light and extreme compression of spinal cord, respectively.  The administration of in mild SCI in the 3-hour observation group did not show a significant difference in expression compared with the 6-hour observation group. The administration of in severe SCI showed a significantly lower expression level of in the 3-hour observation group compared with the 6-hour one. The administration of in severe SCI led to a significantly lower expression in the 3-hour observation group compared with the 6-hour one. However, there was no significant difference in expression in the group receiving in 3 hours observation compared with that in 6 hours observation.  The administration of ACTH4-10Pro8-Gly9-Pro10 can reduce the expression of IL-6 and IL-8 at 3-hour and 6-hour observation after mild and severe SCI in animal models. Future research works are recommended.

脊髓损伤(SCI)是导致发病的一个重要原因,因为它会引发炎症过程,进而导致坏死或凋亡。对组织损伤的炎症反应会增加白细胞介素-6(IL-6)和白细胞介素-8(IL-8)的水平。促肾上腺皮质激素4-10Pro8-Gly9-Pro10是一种肽类物质,已被证明在将发病率降至最低并延长恢复时间方面具有有益作用。

本研究是一项采用完全随机方法的真实实验性实验室研究。受试者分别是脊髓轻度和重度受压的动物模型。

在轻度脊髓损伤中,3小时观察组给予[具体物质未提及]后的[具体指标未提及]表达与6小时观察组相比无显著差异。在重度脊髓损伤中,3小时观察组给予[具体物质未提及]后的[具体指标未提及]表达水平显著低于6小时观察组。在重度脊髓损伤中,3小时观察组给予[具体物质未提及]后的[具体指标未提及]表达显著低于6小时观察组。然而,3小时观察组接受[具体物质未提及]后的[具体指标未提及]表达与6小时观察组相比无显著差异。

在动物模型中,给予促肾上腺皮质激素4-10Pro8-Gly9-Pro10可在轻度和重度脊髓损伤后的3小时和6小时观察期降低IL-6和IL-8的表达。建议开展未来的研究工作。
