Abstract
The prevalence of asteroid hyalosis in adults ≥ 40 years old was 0.6–0.8% in the 2005–2008 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Older age and elevated serum creatinine were associated with the presence of asteroid hyalosis.
