Women and mental health. A model for practice.

This article has addressed the need to consider multiple sources of stress in women's lives to assist them in determining those areas over which they can increase their sense of control as well as ways of coping with those aspects over which they have limited control. The continuing need to help women define and explore realistic options is stressed.
