This study evaluated the effect of ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) on the isolation of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, and antioxidants from dill. UAE improved the extraction yields of total phenolic compounds and total flavonoid content as well as increased the antioxidant activities of all dill extracts. The optimum UAE condition to obtain highest total phenolic compounds, total flavonoid content, and antioxidant activities was 50% ethanol for 30 min giving 135.88 ± 3.23 mg gallic acid equivalent/g extract and 229.53 ± 4.97 mg rutin equivalent/g extract, respectively. Lowest IC values against 2,2'-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radicals were 0.034 ± 0.00 mg/mL and 0.12 ± 0.00 mg/mL, respectively. Results indicated the capability of UAE in extracting biologically active compounds from dill as a prospective functional material.
本研究评估了超声辅助提取(UAE)对从莳萝中分离酚类化合物、黄酮类化合物和抗氧化剂的效果。UAE提高了总酚类化合物和总黄酮含量的提取率,并增强了所有莳萝提取物的抗氧化活性。获得最高总酚类化合物、总黄酮含量和抗氧化活性的最佳UAE条件是使用50%乙醇提取30分钟,分别得到135.88±3.23毫克没食子酸当量/克提取物和229.53±4.97毫克芦丁当量/克提取物。对2,2'-联氮-双(3-乙基苯并噻唑啉-6-磺酸)(ABTS)和2,2-二苯基-1-苦基肼(DPPH)自由基的最低IC值分别为0.034±0.00毫克/毫升和0.12±0.00毫克/毫升。结果表明UAE有能力从莳萝中提取生物活性化合物,使其成为一种有前景的功能材料。
