[Dorsal vertebral chordoma with intrathoracic invasion. Surgical treatment of a case].

A case of thoracic spinal chordoma extending into the postero-inferior mediastinal region is reported. This case was treated by sub-total surgical removal and subsequent radiotherapy. The radiologic features and the possible surgical treatment of this particular tumor with intrathoracic extension are discussed.
