Abstract

AIM

This study aimed at investigating the effect of simulation training on increasing the awareness of nursing students about medical errors they may encounter in psychiatry clinics.

METHODS

This study was quasi-experimental and included pre-test and post-test control groups. The intervention group (n = 41) was provided with "Medical Errors Room" simulation training while the control group (n = 41) was trained by using the presentation method.

RESULTS

Considering the increase in the awareness of all students about medical errors, it was determined that the awareness of the students in the intervention group was higher than the students in the control group (p < 0.05).

CONCLUSION

It was concluded that with the "Medical Error Room" simulation training, the awareness of nursing students, who will be among the health professionals of the future, about medical errors can be increased.

目的

本研究旨在调查模拟培训对提高护理学生对他们在精神病诊所可能遇到的医疗错误的认识的效果。

方法

本研究为类实验设计,包括前测和后测对照组。干预组(n=41)接受了“医疗错误室”模拟培训,而对照组(n=41)则采用演示法进行培训。

结果

考虑到所有学生对医疗错误的认识都有所提高,发现干预组学生的认识高于对照组学生(p<0.05)。

结论

通过“医疗错误室”模拟培训,可以提高未来医疗保健专业人员——护理学生对医疗错误的认识。
