Iatrogenic lesions of the right lateral sector branch of the hepatic duct due to anomalous insertion.

Three cases of iatrogenic lesions of the right lateral sector branch of the hepatic duct during cholecystectomy are reported. These lesions are rare and peroperative cholangiography should be carefully performed to avoid injuries to the common bile duct and to choose the suitable surgical approach.
