[Pseudoaneurysms-A rare complication after osteosynthesis of a sacral fracture].

The formation of a pseudoaneurysm after osteosynthesis is an extremely rare complication. Only a few cases have so far been described in the literature. An optimal treatment strategy can only be determined by an early diagnosis. This article presents the case of a 67-year-old woman who developed a pseudoaneurysm with clinical symptoms after osteosynthesis of bilateral sacral fractures. After confirmation of the diagnosis by angiography treatment involved embolization of the pseudoaneurysm.
