Low rate of thrombinogenesis, its gradual and prolonged development in animal circulation after small-scale surgical operations was accompanied by a compensatory increase in the activity of antithrombin III. After surgical operations of lung in children thrombinoformation at the high rate led to distinct short-term consumption and to decrease in activity of the inhibitor during the operation period and within 2-3 days after the operation simultaneously with activation of enzymatic and nonenzymatic fibrinolysis. At the same time, any postoperational thrombotic complications were not observed in the children.
