Oat ( L.), an annual herbaceous plant belonging to the Gramineae family, is widely grown in various regions including EU, Canada, America, Australia, . Due to the nutritional and pharmacological values, oats have been developed into various functional food including fermented beverage, noodle, cookie, . Meanwhile, numerous studies have demonstrated that oats may effectively improve metabolic syndrome, such as dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, atherosclerosis, hypertension, and obesity. However, the systematic pharmacological mechanisms of oats on metabolic syndrome have not been fully revealed. Therefore, in order to fully explore the benefits of oat in food industry and clinic, this review aims to provide up-to-date information on oat and its constituents, focusing on the effects on metabolic syndrome.
燕麦( Avena sativa L.)是禾本科一年生草本植物,在包括欧盟、加拿大、美国、澳大利亚等在内的各个地区广泛种植。由于其营养和药理价值,燕麦已被开发成各种功能性食品,包括发酵饮料、面条、饼干等。同时,大量研究表明燕麦可有效改善代谢综合征,如血脂异常、高血糖、动脉粥样硬化、高血压和肥胖症。然而,燕麦对代谢综合征的系统药理机制尚未完全阐明。因此,为了全面探索燕麦在食品工业和临床中的益处,本综述旨在提供有关燕麦及其成分的最新信息,重点关注其对代谢综合征的影响。
