The stimulation effect of Neythymun-Sol f+k (Nthy) and 2-Cyanethylcarbamide (CEC) on the leucocytopoesis was studied in 30 Wistar rats and a moderate but significant increase in the total number of leucocytes was found. The increase produced by CEC didn't prove significantly higher than that by Nthy. After 32 d the blood count showed a substantial difference concerning the neutrophils with an increase from 3000 to 9000 without deviation to the left, which was found only under Neythymun. This compound seems to be useful as a stimulator for the neutrophilic leucocytopoesis.
