In an animal experiment (65 Wistar rats) NeyTumorin-Sol and NeyThymun-Sol f + k with 2-Cyanethyl-carbamide were examined in order to determine their leukopoietic and lymphopoietic effect respectively, which proved nearly equal and significant in all preparations. The maximum in the number of leukocytes with a medium elevation by a factor of 1.6 was found between the 14th and 25th day. The lymphopoiesis was especially stimulated with a medium elevation of the number of cells by a factor of 2.9. A repeated application didn't lead to an advantage compared with a single application. The combination of two different preparations resulted in the same or even worse findings compared with a separate administration of the various substances under examination.
