Abstract

The effect of rimantadine and ammonium chloride on the RNA synthesis of Sindbis virus, added in different times of infection cycle, was studied. When compounds were presented in period of adsorption and first hour post-infection, the maximal inhibitory effect was found. The step blocked by rimantadine was identified as uncoating process (deprotainization). This connection was confirmed by the finding that rimantadine markedly reduced the change of the virus RNA into the nuclease-sensitive form.

研究了金刚烷胺和氯化铵在感染周期不同时间添加时对辛德毕斯病毒RNA合成的影响。当在吸附期和感染后第一小时加入这些化合物时,发现了最大抑制作用。金刚烷胺阻断的步骤被确定为脱壳过程(去蛋白化)。金刚烷胺显著降低病毒RNA转变为核酸酶敏感形式的变化这一发现证实了这种联系。
