A tumor found in endometrial curettings of a 35-year-old woman was originally interpreted as malignant. Review of the slides and additional curettings revealed that the tumor was in reality a plexiform leiomyoma. Attention is drawn to the fact that this rare tumor may be present in endometrial curettings.
