Our aim was to investigate the test-retest reliability of the 2-min walk test (2MWT), timed up and go test (TUG), and five times sit-to-stand test (FTSST) in prostate cancer (PC) patients.
This study was conducted with 73 patients who were classified into two groups as frail and non-frail determined by the Geriatric-8 questionnaire. Patients performed the 2MWT, TUG, and FTSST tests for two times. The test-retest reliability of the 2MWT, TUG, and FTSST was assessed by calculating the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC). The standard error of measurement (SEM) and minimal detectable change (MDC) values were calculated.
All tests showed excellent test-retest reliability for both groups (ICC > 0.90). The SEM and MDC values of 2MWT were 3.09, 8.57, and 3.15 m, 8.73 m for frail and non-frail groups. The SEM and MDC values of TUG for the frail group were 0.6 and 1.66 and 0.43 and 1.19 for the non-frail group, respectively. The SEM and MDC values of FTST for the frail group were 0.68 and 1.88 and for the non-frail group 0.86 and 2.38.
The 2MWT, TUG, and FTSST showed excellent reliability in frail and non-frail older adults with PC which can be used to assess physical performance.
我们的目的是研究2分钟步行试验(2MWT)、定时起立行走试验(TUG)和五次坐立试验(FTSST)在前列腺癌(PC)患者中的重测信度。
本研究纳入了73例患者,根据老年综合评估问卷(Geriatric-8)分为虚弱组和非虚弱组。患者进行2MWT、TUG和FTSST测试各两次。通过计算组内相关系数(ICC)评估2MWT、TUG和FTSST的重测信度。计算测量标准误(SEM)和最小可检测变化(MDC)值。
两组所有测试均显示出良好的重测信度(ICC>0.90)。虚弱组和非虚弱组2MWT的SEM和MDC值分别为3.09、8.57以及3.15米、8.73米。虚弱组TUG的SEM和MDC值分别为0.6和1.66,非虚弱组分别为0.43和1.19。虚弱组FTST的SEM和MDC值分别为0.68和1.88,非虚弱组为0.86和2.38。
2MWT、TUG和FTSST在虚弱和非虚弱的老年PC患者中显示出良好的信度,可用于评估身体功能。
