The striped notothen is an Antarctic fish species belonging to the family Nototheniidae (cod icefishes) that is distributed throughout the Southern Ocean. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome of was sequenced using an Illumina MiSeq platform. The circular mitochondrial genome is 19,218 bp long and contains 13 protein-coding genes, 23 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes, and one control region. Notably, there are two genes and the second gene, located between and , has no D-arm structure. The base composition is 56.18% of A + T and 43.82% of G + C. The phylogenetic analysis supports that is grouped into a single clade with . This study will be a valuable resource for further research on the phylogeny and evolution of the genus .
带纹南极鱼是南极鱼类的一种，属于南极鱼科（鳕鱼冰鱼），分布于南大洋。在本研究中，使用Illumina MiSeq平台对其完整的线粒体基因组进行了测序。环状线粒体基因组长度为19218 bp，包含13个蛋白质编码基因、23个tRNA基因、2个rRNA基因和1个控制区。值得注意的是，有两个基因，第二个基因位于和之间，没有D臂结构。碱基组成为A+T占56.18%，G+C占43.82%。系统发育分析支持与归为一个单系分支。本研究将为该属的系统发育和进化的进一步研究提供有价值的资源。
