In breast cancer early detection is associated with reduced mortality and it is essential to identify new biomarkers for early detection and appropriate management of cancer patients with the best response to treatment. Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) have attracted much attention as potential diagnostic, prognostic, or predictive biomarkers due to their high specificity, easy access to non-invasive methods, and their aberrant expression under various pathological and physiological conditions. Have attracted the aim of this study is to investigate the expression profile of intragenic non-coding LncRNAs LCAL4 as a biomarker as potential diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in cancer.
In this research, 62 tissue samples were obtained from patients undergoing therapeutic surgery in Khatam al-Anbia Hospital and the normal peripheral tissue that was removed for prevention was used as a control by Real-time PCR method.
The expression pattern of LCAL4 long non-coding RNA gene is significantly different between two groups of healthy control samples and samples obtained from patients with different breast cancer subtypes, Also its expression between samples obtained from different subgroups and different stages showed significant differences.
The studied LncRNAs can act as a factor to identify tumor tissue from healthy tissue, and the diagnosis of cancer grades can be different depending on the type of LncRNA. These results can be proposed in the introduction of LncRNA LCAL4 as a new marker in the diagnosis of breast cancer. In addition, by interpreting the results, it can be concluded that these LncRNAs can be considered as influential factors in the process of breast cancer.
在乳腺癌中,早期检测与死亡率降低相关,识别新的生物标志物对于癌症患者的早期检测以及以最佳治疗反应进行适当管理至关重要。长链非编码RNA(LncRNAs)因其高特异性、易于采用非侵入性方法获取以及在各种病理和生理条件下的异常表达,作为潜在的诊断、预后或预测生物标志物备受关注。本研究的目的是调查基因内非编码LncRNAs LCAL4作为癌症潜在诊断和预后生物标志物的表达谱。
在本研究中,从哈塔姆·安比医院接受治疗性手术的患者中获取了62个组织样本,并将为预防目的而切除的正常外周组织用作对照,采用实时荧光定量PCR方法。
健康对照样本组与不同乳腺癌亚型患者获取的样本之间,LCAL4长链非编码RNA基因的表达模式存在显著差异,而且从不同亚组和不同阶段获取的样本之间其表达也显示出显著差异。
所研究的LncRNAs可作为从健康组织中识别肿瘤组织的一个因素,并且根据LncRNA的类型,癌症分级的诊断可能会有所不同。这些结果可用于将LncRNA LCAL4作为乳腺癌诊断中的一种新标志物引入。此外,通过对结果的解读,可以得出结论,这些LncRNAs可被视为乳腺癌发生过程中的影响因素。
