Abstract

Blume (), listed as one of the 34 precious Chinese medicines, servers a dual purpose as both a medicinal herb and a food source. Polysaccharide is the main active ingredient in , which has pharmacological activities such as immune regulation, anti-oxidation, anti-cancer, anti-aging, neuroprotection and antibacterial activity and so on. The biological activities of polysaccharide (GPs) is closely related to its chemical structures. However, no a review has synthetically summarized the chemical structures and pharmacological activities of GPs. This study delves into the chemical structures, pharmacological action of GPs, offering insights for the future development an application of these compounds.

萱草(被列为34种名贵中药材之一)兼具药用植物和食物来源的双重用途。多糖是萱草中的主要活性成分,具有免疫调节、抗氧化、抗癌、抗衰老、神经保护和抗菌活性等药理活性。萱草多糖(GPs)的生物活性与其化学结构密切相关。然而,尚无综述综合总结GPs的化学结构和药理活性。本研究深入探讨了GPs的化学结构和药理作用,为这些化合物的未来开发和应用提供了见解。
