Abstract

and species are increasingly recognized as significant opportunistic fungal pathogens. We report a rare case of co-infection in a 63-year old heart transplant recipient presenting with nodular skin lesions, treated successfully with voriconazole. We highlight the importance of being vigilant about co-infection with moulds as it impacts on the selection of appropriate antifungal agents. 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
