Abstract
Twelve patients with trigeminal neuralgia were treated with a daily dose of 2 mg Melitracen and 40 mg Flupenthixol. The majority of patients derived benefit from it. The former drug is a bipolar thymoeleptic and the latter a neuroleptic. There was no adverse side effects. The regime of treatment is recommended in cases that do not respond to conventional treatment.

12例三叉神经痛患者接受了每日2毫克美利曲辛和40毫克氟哌噻吨的治疗。大多数患者从中受益。前一种药物是双相情感稳定剂，后一种是抗精神病药。未出现不良反应。对于对传统治疗无反应的病例，推荐这种治疗方案。
