[Atraumatic closure of skin defects].

A method of atraumatic wound closure published by Ambroise Pare [1] was carried out by suturing of crosstrips (Mefix-Mölnlycke) fixed along and upon the wound margins, combined with intradermal continuous sutures (absorbable monofilament polydioxanone--4-0, Ethicon).
