Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual female thistle gall fly, (Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Tephritidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 837.80 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 20.37 kilobases in length.
