Abstract

• A preventive effect of muscular activity against carcinomas was already postulated in the previous century. • The exercise milieu can help to improve anticancer immune function. • studies should be interpreted with caution because they do not recapitulate real-life (whole-body) scenarios. • Many questions remain open before we can claim that exercise “kills” tumors.
