Abstract
We retrospectively reviewed patients with bacteremia treated with daptomycin. All 11 isolates were initially susceptible to daptomycin, but the emergence of daptomycin nonsusceptibility during treatment and clinical failure occurred in 36% and 45% of patients, respectively.
