Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual male (planthopper; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hemiptera; Delphacidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 957.80 megabases. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 12 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 21.98 kilobases in length.
