Abstract

INTRODUCTION

Traditional Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) typically involves the retrograde placement of a ureteral catheter. However, this procedure can present additional risks in pediatric patients.

CASE PRESENTATION

We report a case of a 10-year-old boy, weighing 33 kg, diagnosed with a right upper ureteral stone complicated by hydronephrosis and urosepsis.

CLINICAL DISCUSSION

Tubeless PCNL without retrograde indwelling ureteral catheter was performed on the second day of hospitalization.

CONCLUSION

This case applied tubeless PCNL without retrograde ureteral catheterization in a single prone position. The procedure was successful and safe.

引言

传统经皮肾镜取石术(PCNL)通常需要逆行放置输尿管导管。然而,该手术在儿科患者中可能会带来额外风险。

病例介绍

我们报告一例10岁男孩,体重33千克,诊断为右输尿管上段结石并伴有肾积水和尿脓毒症。

临床讨论

结论

本病例在单一俯卧位应用了无逆行输尿管插管的无管PCNL。手术成功且安全。
