Abstract
Cerebral angioendotheliomatosis may mimic classic hemispheric and nonhemispheric carotid arterial symptomatology and may even result in carotid arteriography and endarterectomy prior to its recognition. Diagnosis requires brain biopsy and the prognosis is poor.
