Abstract
We present a genome assembly from a male specimen of (Small Red Damselfly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Odonata; Coenagrionidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 2,077.00 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.28%) is scaffolded into 14 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 17.21 kilobases in length.
