At early stages the regeneration of the capillaries in adult rats in the focus of the skeletal muscle traumatic injury proceeds together with regeneration of muscle elements. However, it is retarded to some extent. The capillaries are formed within the borders of the basal membranes of the destroyed vessels or grow de novo from poorly differentiated interstitial cells.
