In the healthcare sector, the use of inhalers with high global warming potential represents a significant source of emissions, further exacerbated by low recycling rates. The transition to lower-impact devices and improved waste management are priority actions. In this context, community pharmacists play a key role-not only in optimizing inhalation therapy and educating patients, but also in reducing the associated carbon footprint-thus promoting a more sustainable healthcare practice.
