The aim of this study is to investigate the alleviating effect of lipoic acid on oxidative stress and tissue damage induced by aflatoxin B (AFB) in young laying hens. The experiment was divided into a control group, an AFB group, and three lipoic acid treatment groups. The AFB group and three lipoic acid treatment groups were given diets supplemented with 90 μg/kg of AFB. The additional amounts of lipoic acid were 20, 100, and 500 mg/kg, respectively, with a feeding period of 4 weeks. The experimental results showed that AFB significantly increased the levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in the serum and significantly decreased the levels of total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) and catalase (CAT) ( < 0.05). In addition, AFB damaged the structure of the liver, spleen, and ovarian tissues. Lipoic acid reduced the levels of ALT, AST, ALP, and MDA in the serum and increased the levels of TP, ALB, T-SOD, GSH-Px, and CAT ( < 0.05). Meanwhile, lipoic acid also protected mitochondrial structure and alleviated liver, spleen, and ovarian tissue damage caused by AFB. In summary, lipoic acid can alleviate oxidative stress and tissue damage caused by AFB in young laying hens.
本研究旨在探讨硫辛酸对黄曲霉毒素B(AFB)诱导的青年蛋鸡氧化应激和组织损伤的缓解作用。实验分为对照组、AFB组和三个硫辛酸处理组。AFB组和三个硫辛酸处理组的日粮中添加90μg/kg的AFB。硫辛酸的添加量分别为20、100和500mg/kg,饲养期为4周。实验结果表明,AFB显著提高了血清中谷丙转氨酶(ALT)、谷草转氨酶(AST)、碱性磷酸酶(ALP)和丙二醛(MDA)的水平,并显著降低了总蛋白(TP)、白蛋白(ALB)、总超氧化物歧化酶(T-SOD)、谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶(GSH-Px)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)的水平(P<0.05)。此外,AFB破坏了肝脏、脾脏和卵巢组织的结构。硫辛酸降低了血清中ALT、AST、ALP和MDA的水平,提高了TP、ALB、T-SOD、GSH-Px和CAT的水平(P<0.05)。同时,硫辛酸还保护线粒体结构,减轻了AFB引起的肝脏、脾脏和卵巢组织损伤。综上所述,硫辛酸可以缓解青年蛋鸡AFB引起的氧化应激和组织损伤。
