(houseleek) is a flowering plant from the Crassulacuae family, commonly used in folk medicine. This study aimed to evaluate the HPLC profile, total phenolic, and flavonoid content as well as antioxidant activity of houseleek extracted using various ethanol/water mixtures. Houseleek samples were collected in three different locations during two vegetative periods. Seasonal variations in phenolic content and antioxidant activity, and linkage the phenolic composition versus antioxidant activity were assessed. Increased water share in extraction mixture resulted in phenolic compounds higher yield extraction. The major phenolic compound in analysed samples was K-hexoside (5.382 ± 0.030 mg/100 g f.w. in samples collected in September 2018 in Vlasotince). Multivariate techniques were applied to discriminate samples collected in various locations and vegetative periods and to perceive relations between the phenolic profile of each sample and different season/location.
长生草是一种来自景天科的开花植物,常用于民间医学。本研究旨在评估使用不同乙醇/水混合物提取的长生草的高效液相色谱图谱、总酚和黄酮含量以及抗氧化活性。在两个营养生长期,于三个不同地点采集长生草样本。评估了酚含量和抗氧化活性的季节性变化,以及酚类成分与抗氧化活性之间的联系。提取混合物中水的占比增加导致酚类化合物的提取产率更高。分析样本中的主要酚类化合物是钾己糖苷(2018年9月在弗拉索廷采采集的样本中为5.382±0.030毫克/100克鲜重)。应用多变量技术区分在不同地点和营养生长期采集的样本,并了解每个样本的酚类特征与不同季节/地点之间的关系。
