Abstract
Drowning is one of the commonest causes of unintentional mortality in children, moreover in developing countries. We briefly highlight the 2024 major updates jointly by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) on resuscitation of drowning victims and the chain of survival.
