Abstract

In their experiments on female rats which had been given 10% ethanol for 10 months the authors showed the characteristics of 14C-ethanol accumulation in the structures of the brain and liver of the animals and changes in these parameters during pregnancy. The penetration and accumulation of 14C-ethanol in the brain and liver of fetuses of chronically alcoholized animals were found to be different.
