[Antitumor resistance in depositing Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the lungs of rats].

In the experiments on rats of "Wistar" line and non-inbred rats the author has demonstrated that the inflammatory process in the lungs induced by non-virulent mycobacteria of BCG strain is able to decrease the organism resistance to the occurrence of chemically induced tumors. Desensibilization with PPD prior to the appearance of tumors would contribute to restoration of their antitumor resistance.
