[Endoscopic diagnosis and removal of foreign bodies from upper segments of the digestive tract].

The authors have made an analysis of urgent endoscopic examinations performed on 165 patients with foreign bodies in the upper part of the digestive tract. The occurrence and character of foreign bodies in different organs, extraction with the help of an endoscope, prevention of possible complications are considered.
