Endoscopic techniques for insertional calcific tendinopathy of the Achilles tendon have the benefits of reduced perioperative pain, minimal scarring, minimal blood loss, and quicker recovery times. However, the limited visualization provided by endoscopy may hinder the complete removal of calcified lesions and the repair of the insertion, potentially affecting surgical outcomes. Herein, we describe a technique that uses fluoroscopy to identify calcific deposits and assist in portals establishment and apply puncture needle to guide percutaneous suturing of Achilles tendon, which avoids excessive tissue damage while ensuring the effectiveness of debridement and insertion repair.
