The 12 International Conference "Photosynthesis and Hydrogen Energy Research for Sustainability 2024" was organised in honour of John Allen, Eva-Mari Aro, İbrahim Dinçer, Kazunari Domen, Elizabeth Gantt, and Andrey Rubin, by Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul from 13 to 19 October 2024. The International Society of Photosynthesis Research (ISPR) and the International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE) supported the event. In the brief report, we provide a summary of the conference, the scientific contributions of honoured scientists, and a brief content of individual sessions. We specifically focused on the participation of young researchers, their presentations and awards.
2024年10月13日至19日，由伊斯坦布尔的巴赫切希尔大学主办的第12届国际会议“2024年可持续发展的光合作用与氢能研究”，以纪念约翰·艾伦、伊娃-玛丽·阿罗、易卜拉欣·丁泽尔、户田和典、伊丽莎白·甘特和安德烈·鲁宾。国际光合作用研究协会（ISPR）和国际氢能协会（IAHE）支持了此次活动。在这份简短的报告中，我们总结了会议情况、杰出科学家的科学贡献以及各个分会场的简要内容。我们特别关注了青年研究人员的参与情况、他们的报告以及所获奖项。
