The Cainguá (Mbŷá) have preserved a singular theology whereof the comprehension makes possible an approach to the real being within that culture. This group keeps its ethnic individuality through a culturally patterned attitude of rejection and withdrawal from accidental culture, which has been dominant in its territory, especially since the 17th century.
