A new, simple, and accurate assay was developed for the colorimetric determination of nickel ions in 96-well plates. The proposed method utilized the color change immediately visible even to the naked eye during the reaction of Ni(II) ions with dithiothreitol molecules (DTT). The intensity of the color produced by the formation of the complex between nickel and dithiothreitol is linearly proportional to the concentration of the metal ions in an alkaline environment, at room temperature, and the detection was performed using a mobile phone as the detector. The proposed method had a good linear response between 0.05 and 0.75 mmol L and a detection limit of 0.13 mmol L and was successfully applied for the determination of Ni(II) in bottled and surface water samples.
开发了一种用于在96孔板中比色测定镍离子的新型、简单且准确的检测方法。所提出的方法利用了镍(II)离子与二硫苏糖醇分子(DTT)反应过程中即使肉眼也能立即看到的颜色变化。在室温下的碱性环境中,镍与二硫苏糖醇形成的络合物产生的颜色强度与金属离子浓度呈线性比例关系,并且使用手机作为检测器进行检测。所提出的方法在0.05至0.75 mmol/L之间具有良好的线性响应,检测限为0.13 mmol/L,并成功应用于瓶装水和地表水样品中镍(II)的测定。
