The spectrum of familial tumor endocrinopathies is broad; what has been described here probably represents only a small part of the entire subject. No consideration has been given to treatment, as this is covered in standard tests. It is important to recognize that, potentially, any endocrine tumor may be familial, and both a detailed family study and longitudinal follow-up are necessary if the mode of inheritance and the degree of clinical variability are to be established with certainty.
