Abstract

THIS PAPER REPORTS AN INVESTIGATION OF THE ACTIVITY OF THREE BASIC GROUPS OF OXIDOREDUCTASES IN LEPROMATOUS LEPROSY

specific dehydrogenases, flavoprotein enzymes, and cytochrome oxidase. The activity of the enzymes was studied before treatment, at various stages of treatment during exacerbations, and in the stage of regression. The data obtained are of importance for evaluating metabolic process in the cells of the specific infiltrates and the dermal connective tissue in leprosy, for determining the nature and intensity of the inflammatory process, and for control purposes in cases of regression.

本文报道了对瘤型麻风病中三类氧化还原酶活性的研究

特定脱氢酶、黄素蛋白酶和细胞色素氧化酶。在治疗前、病情加重期间治疗的不同阶段以及病情消退阶段对这些酶的活性进行了研究。所获得的数据对于评估麻风病中特异性浸润细胞和真皮结缔组织中的代谢过程、确定炎症过程的性质和强度以及在病情消退情况下的控制目的具有重要意义。
