Abstract
Conventional swine weighing 20-45 kg were anesthetized for surgical procedures. After fasting for 24 hours, ketamine hydrochloride and xylazine were administered intramuscularly. Following tracheal intubation, sodium thiopental was administered via the aural or femoral vein.
