The uptake by human peripheral lymphocytes of horse anti-human lymphocyte globulin was studied using a fluorescein-labelled sheep anti-horse globulin serum. The aim was to see whether a subpopulation of B cells, which can be identified by their abundant surface immunoglobulin, would take it up less readily than T cells. No difference in uptake could be detected between B and T cells.
