Abstract
Reports of post-transfusion jaundice were analysed in four successive years from April 1, 1969 to April 1, 1973. Analysis showed a marked reduction in the number of cases reported during the two years of routine HBAg-testing of all blood donations as compared with the two years before this testing was instituted. The value of retrospective studies under present conditions of reporting is discussed.

对1969年4月1日至1973年4月1日连续四年间输血后黄疸的报告进行了分析。分析表明，与开始此项检测的两年前相比，在对所有献血进行常规乙肝表面抗原（HBAg）检测的两年间，报告的病例数显著减少。讨论了在当前报告条件下回顾性研究的价值。
