Abstract

The combined irradiation of rats, aged 36--42 days (the thyroid uptake--6900 rad) would induce the development of neoplasms characteristic of each factor exposure. The incidence of thyroid tumors (75.0%) was close to that induced by a separate 131I exposure (72.5%) the thyroid uptake being 6200 rad.
