Abstract

Guinea-pig anti- antibodies of the γ and γM classes were obtained free of each other, and their properties were studied quantitively. Macroglobulin antibodies were found to be about twenty times more efficient than γ, in agglutination and opsonic activity . The cytophilic activity of both classes of antibodies was the same.
