Avariant of long-term prognosis of the development of neurotraumatology is suggested on the basis of the analysis of questionnaires filled in by leading Soviet specialists in the field of neurosurgery, neurology, and traumatology as well as data in the literature and patent documentation. The concrete purposes and the approximate terms of their attainment according to the principal aspects of the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with craniocerebral trauma and injuries to the spine and spinal cord are presented.
